One dashboard instead of eleven exports
The problem
Every Monday, four people exported four spreadsheets and pasted them into a fifth. The fifth was wrong roughly once a month.
An internal analytics dashboard pulling four source systems into one daily picture, with alerting on the numbers that matter.
What was built
- Scheduled ingestion jobs normalising each source into one warehouse schema
- Chart layer built on Chart.js with a shared, colour-blind-safe palette
- Threshold alerts delivered by email the morning the number moves
Where it landed
- The Monday export ritual is gone
- Definitions live in the schema, so two teams quote the same figure
